Hole 18 - Road

A long par 5 with out of bounds all along the right, which has been the enigma of many a player. A straight drive is required avoiding the fairway bunker followed by a second shot over a marker with a fairway bunker lurking on the left hand side.

Heavy heather on both sides of the fairway set the importance on accuracy over length when laying up. Accuracy will be rewarded here as a third shot off the fairway could give you a birdie opportunity as the large green is only defended by one bunker to the front left. Going long, however, could spell disaster, as you are left with a difficult pitch or even out of bounds if you really overshoot.
